A boutique Dominican luxury villa rental that needed to reach US travelers directly and convert browsers into booking inquiries — without paying OTAs a 20% cut.
Azure was a brand-new villa with no organic traffic, no email list, and no presence on the major OTAs. The owners needed direct bookings from high-intent US travelers — fast — without giving up 20% of every reservation to a marketplace, and without flying blind on which channels were actually working.
Before driving any traffic, we installed The Ad Company's tracking pixel on every page of azure.bio.do. The pixel captures who visits, where they come from, what they look at, how long they stay, and which sessions end with a booking inquiry. From day one, every visitor was attributed back to its source.
As traffic came in, the pixel built a picture of who was actually converting. It quickly became clear that US visitors — concentrated in the Northeast — were converting at a much higher rate than anyone else. Visitors who landed on certain pages stayed longer and were far more likely to submit an inquiry.
We used what the pixel was telling us to tighten the funnel: focus the page on the audience that was actually buying, surface the content that was holding their attention, and stop wasting visitors that weren't a fit. Every change was measured against the same baseline so we could see what moved the needle.
Azure generated 753 booking inquiries from 1,983 unique visitors — a 29% conversion rate, roughly 10x what the travel industry considers healthy. 74% of visitors came from the United States (mostly the Northeast), exactly the audience the property was priced for. Visitors averaged 5+ pages per session — a clear signal of real intent.
More importantly, Azure now owns its data. Every inquiry, every visitor profile, every attribution lives in their dashboard, so the next decision starts smarter than the last.
